Maintain and service CNC Machine Tools. Provide repair services

What is the procedure for repairing the PCB & Card Set ?
Generally, the faulty card is detected and sent by the client's
maintenance engineers. When we receive the cards, we submit the quotation with our
preliminary inspection report. Once the quotation is accepted and confirmed through
a Purchase Order, the repairs start and are normally completed within a one weeks
span. After repairs, the card is sent back to the client or we depute an engineer to
go along for testing the card on-site.
Are any kind of warranties provided on the repairs done?
We also offer a three-month standard warranty for our repairs &
extended 6 month special warranty (Terms & conditions as apply).
What is the procedure and mode of payment?
Once the card is successfully tested on the machine / equipment,
we send the invoice for our payment.
What kind of annual maintainence contract is provided?
We offer an annual maintenance contract (AMC) for CNC Machines only. The A.M.C if
offered, is for one year and covers the electronic components of the machines. As
per Standard Terms & Conditions, the AMC covers twelve visits out of which two to
three visits are utilized for preventive maintenance.
What are the terms of payment?
Payment terms 50% at the time of signing the contract and 50%
after six month.
What kind of turnkey jobs are taken up?
We take on the retrofitting of machine tools. The retrofitted CNC
Machine tool is replaced with New controls (i.e., FANUC, SIEMENS, FAGOR ELPRO,
KIRLOSKAR, and etc) as per the requirement and acceptance of the client. We design
the complete wiring and write the PLC Program. We also take up these types of jobs
for various other Automation lines. For example, sheet forming and bending process
line where the complete line is run by PLC. Also, we develop systems and cards as a
sustitute for imported equipment or for obsolete system where availability of spare
parts is a problem.
How do I initiate a repair order?
Simply send the equipment to our office with your return contact
information (i.e., company name, contact name, phone number, fax number, and return
shipping address). Please pack everything properly and indicate minimum cost to
avoid any octroi duty. Please provide a description of the problem in as much detail
as possible. We will contact you via fax or e-mail with quotes and any other
information requests.
Is there any cost involved with the estimate?
There is never a charge for quotes and evaluations.
How much will my repair cost?
Many items are listed in the published "Repair & Services
Catalog". However, all repairs are quoted before any costs are incurred. Charges are
targeted at 25-40% of replacement costs.
How long will the repair take?
Normal repair time is ten (10) business days after approval of
quote. "Emergency Breakdown" service is offered at a 25% premium. These repairs are
to be shipped within seventy-two (72) hours after approval of the quote. "Rush"
service is also available for a ten (10)% premium; this means that the repair is
immediately put in front of all other repairs and will be shipped ASAP (usually
within four (4) business days). Obtaining parts is the key with all repairs.
Sometimes the lead times on receiving parts are longer than the scheduled delivery
times. We will always expedite parts and attempt to have "Overnight" delivery. This
is not always possible, thus delaying deliveries. "Late Delivery" notices are sent
as soon as we detect the possibility of not meeting the targeted dates.
Do you ship express delivery?
Rush, Hot Shot, and larger freight items can be arranged and
billed at actual costs to the customer.
Can I get a report on my repair?
Simply contact the quoting Repair Depot.
